Generations Growing in Faith

Christ Jesus, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped. Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave coming in human likeness; and found human in appearance, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

- Philippians 2:6-8

Our logo depicts our main window over the front door of our church. The cross reminds us that Jesus Christ died out of love for us. The water reminds us of our baptism into the following of Jesus Christ. The wheat reminds us that Jesus Christ is present in the Eucharist to nourish and transform us. The dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit who inspires and empowers us. Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation are the three sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church, the People of God, the Body of Christ. Notice the rays of light coming out of the window. Let it remind us that we, the St. Dominic parish family, having gathered and celebrated the Eucharist, are sent forth to be a light in the community!
