Those who keep his commandments remain in him, and he in them, and the way we know that he remains in us is from Spirit he gave us.

- 1 John 3:24

APRIL IS CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH

Catholic parishes and dioceses across the United States observe Child Abuse Prevention Month during April. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) also makes resources available at:  http://www.usccb.org/issues-and-action/child-and-youth-protection/resources/child-abuse-prevention-month-resources.cfm

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati has published a document for parents about protecting their children from abuse. The link below will connect you to this resource, How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse: A Guide for Parents and Guardians. It describes healthy and unhealthy relationships, types of abuse, frequently asked questions, good safety rules, and child protection agency contact numbers for every county in the Archdiocese.
