"Amen, I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the other contributors to the treasury. For they have all contributed from their surplus wealth, but she from her poverty, has contributed all she had, her whole livelihood."

- Mark 12:43-44

Fr Jim Walsh

I have been pastor of St. Dominic since October of 2000.  I was born and raised on the west side, a member of St. William parish and graduate of Elder 1959.  I was ordained in Rome in 1968 and served in various ministries in the Archdiocese;  high school teacher, Fenwick and McNicholas, Office of Religious Education, Director of the Department of Pastoral Services, President/Rector of the Athenaeum of Ohio, Director of the Seminary Department of NCEA in Washington D.C.  It has been a wonderful ride, and the best part has been the last twelve years, sharing the journey with the faithful and generous people of St. Dominic parish.
